Colby Rogers - Head Coach
Colby Rogers is in his 12th season in teaching and coaching and his first as head coach at The Colony. Coach Rogers returns to The Colony after serving as varsity assistant coach from 2015-2022. He served 3 years as varsity assistant at Frisco Lone Star High School and this past year as varsity assistant at Hebron. Coach Rogers has been a part of 3 baseball district championship teams at 3 different schools (2021 - The Colony, 2023 - Lone Star, 2026 - Hebron). Coach Rogers is excited to be back at The Colony and for the 2027 season.
He is married to his beautiful wife Alex and they have one daughter, Evelynn (3). They enjoy travelling, watching sports, and spending time with family.
Brandon Grady - 1st Asst. Varsity

Coach Grady graduated from The University of North Texas in 2013 with a degree in Kinesiology. Coach Grady has 16 years of coaching experience at both the middle school and high school level. He is entering his 6th year at The Colony HS. Coach Grady enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Sarah of 12 years and his two sons Mason (7) and Landon (5).

Coach Goodchild graduated from The Colony High School in 2008. Playing
for Coach Rangel and alongside Coach King. He went on to play safety and run track at Bethany College before finishing his college education at The University of North Texas where he earned his degree in biology. He enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with his wife Crystal, 7 year old son Turner and 1 year old daughter Tatum. This will be his third year teaching and coaching at The Colony High School.
Cameron Chafin - JV Gold Head Coach/ Asst. Coach

Coach Chafin grew up and attended high school in Burnet, Texas. He played football and graduated from Hardin-Simmons University, with a degree in Business Administration. Cameron met his beautiful wife, Meagan Chafin - who played volleyball at HSU - while in college. Together, they have one son named Copeland, who is turning 3 in October. This will be Cameron’s 3rd year coaching varsity football and 2nd year at The Colony. Coach Chafin is excited to join the TC staff!
